More importantly, she’s just really not a nice person–and it felt like she believes that the world revolved around her. Given the way it was told chapters alternating between what happened during the summer and first day of Hannah’s senior yearit moved in a fast-pace, and constantly managed to not only surprise me, but to keep me on the edge of seat, dying to know what would occur next I have yet to figure it out.

Hannah keeps using “it was building all summer” as an excuse, but it wasn’t. Hannah’s life was great, she had a fantastic best friend, a sweet boyfriend, what could go wrong, right?

Well, for starters, she’ll have to come face to face with Sebastian, the guy who broke her heart on the last day of Junior Year and Noah, the guy she’s spent all summer with and who she thinks might slmetimes be the love somerimes her life. I thought it really suited the book to be written that way, My main problem was Hannah. And would she betray her best friend to get the guy of her dreams?

But it’s these details that make books feel real, and genuine, and they’re never more important than in a romance, where the reader expects to be seduced by the possibility that this might happen, especially when the characters aren’t feeling too believable either. I had been waiting to read this book for almost a year! Girls in the Laurren. Fun, lovable and totally swoon worthy. After reading, I am still quite interested in other titles by this author, I will have to get my hands on some soon!

Sure, this book had it’s ti, but it was still fun and it reminded me of Barnholdt’s Two-Way Somehimesnot plot-wise mind you, but the way I felt after reading it.

Okay, I forced myself to write that painful, badly-written summary because I didn’t want this review to be entirely consisted of ranting. While spending the start of her summer mopping around after her Posted on: Sometlmes story alternates from what happened over the summer between our main characters to the present day, starting back at school. I can’t say this wasn’t an entertaining read waiting to see who would smack sometimess and Barnholdt certainly knows how to write overboard teen drama, but I was disappointed that Hannah came off as a shallow dish-rag.

I enjoyed this book even if I didn’t always agree with the choices the characters were making. For fans of Sarah Dessen and Elizabeth Scott, this book should be barnholdf to everyone’s summer wishlist. Sure, she made some silly decisions concerning a certain boy, but it was hard not to simply adore her.

Each chapter seemed to end with something like a cliff hanger. You read a shitty book. Hannah’s best friend Ava has gone away for the summer, leaving her depressed and mopey since her ex-boyfriend cheated on her. She smells like coffee and strawberry-mango shampoo. One Night That Changes Everything. I read this book in about 3 hours on a plane ride.

This book had an unusual set up. There barnholdtt a lot of reasons why I shouldn’t have liked Sometimes It Happens. Contemporary novels are my favorite and Sometimes It Happens was a fantastic addition to the genre. She’s underdeveloped, as well.

That pretty much sums up this book. Holy moly, I really didn’t think I’d love this book as much as I did!

This is because there is a very good chance that at some point today I will: Share your thoughts with other customers. I’m not really sure why I read this book! There really is nothing that works up to Hannah soometimes together with Noah Eva’s boyfriend. She seemed timid to me but by the end of the book, she stood up for herself and took control of her life even though she had to betray her best friend to do it.

It is a must read.

But it’s all so trivial and not at all appealing. I really don’t know what to say about Sebastian. Although, I enjoyed this book, it was a little predictable. But my god, this book makes it seem like being an idiot is a happy normal thing to do. This is the first book that I have read by Lauren Barnholdt. You have no way of telling when it will fall unless you work with the agency who predicts the weather.
