Especially when they are slightly chained up to their questiomable when you first meet them.
Magic Triumphs – to be released May As in the andreqs of the series, I really liked the introduction of mythology and folklore as part of the plot. Great action, great fun! As sndrews, Kate kicks ass while being funny as hell: Skinny, flabby, filthy, with breasts dangling to her waist like two empty bags, she tossed back grimy tangled hair and hissed at me, baring stumps of rotten teeth.
What did I fall into? For anything I asked, there would be a price. I took a deep breath. The cat leaned forward in anticipation. Kate is one of a kind and I needed a dose of IA unique writing because I was going crazy obsessing over it after I read Burn for Me so I decided reading or re-reading some of them the novellas and short stories from Kate Daniels should tidy me over for a while.
This story was ridiculously short but it was so worth reading it.
A Questionable Client (Kate Daniels, #) by Ilona Andrews (5 star ratings)
Andrrews is a rundown of Kate’s first meeting with Saiman and his ridiculousness and it was awesome. Saiman was his usual crazy self, getting into trouble and questiinable others to take him out and Kate the sarcastic, impulsive and surprisingly wise badass girl we’ve come to love. Three minutes later the cat lapped milk from Saiman’s crystal punch bowl.

Although short this story is full of humour and was a quick, enjoyable questionzble that has reminded me how much I liked the first book in this series and has made me keen to continue reading Kate’s story.
I’d actually forgotten how creepy Saiman can be! I still find him fascinating though and I loved getting to see how Kate met him.
Magic Graves (Kate Daniels #0.5)
This series is definitely one of my favourites and I’m excited to dive back in! This is a cool prequel to the first Kate Daniels novel, Magic Bitestelling about Kate’s first meeting with Saiman, who’s shifty in more ways than one.
It’s kind of amusing to find the massively wealthy Saiman, who can assume any shape Chris Hemsworth? Kate, bless her, has excellent reasons for telling him no. Being Saiman, he also has an underhanded matter he’s involved in tha Online freebie time! Being Saiman, he also has an underhanded matter he’s involved in that creates mortal danger for both himself and Kate, which Kate handles with her typical kickassery and humor.

Though it’s quextionable short, and a quick read, there’s plenty of ass kicking and snark. But bodyguard detail was a couple’s kind of dance. You had to work with the body you guarded, and in my April Re-read. You had to work with the body you guarded, and in my experience, bodies proved uncooperative.
You get to see why Saiman is so fascinated with Kate – and it’s not just because she says no the first time. As I love Kate, too, I can’t really blame Saiman; even if he is a creepy bastard.
My paper said questionavle client’s name was Saiman. No indication if it was his last or first name.
